5 Awesome Logo Design Tools To Grow Your Brand In 2018

When you’re trying to grow your brand whether it’s a blog or anything else a logo can be one of the most effective ways. Think about some of the great brands of the world. You don’t need to see the name of the company all you need to see is the logo and you immediately know the brand.

Apple is a good example. When they first started out in the 80’s they had the colorful Apple logo along with the words “Apple Computer”. Think about their logo today. What does it say? Nothing. It’s a simple monochrome apple and it’s instantly recognizable the world over.

Your logo is your brand and it can be the most powerful marketing tool in your arsenal. I’m actually working on a logo right now for this site which is what made me decide to write about this.

If you’re looking to create a logo for the first time or just refresh the one you have the good news is it’s not that hard, and not very expensive.

Here are 5 professional design tools and services you might find useful:

1. Wix Logo Maker

You’ve probably seen the commercials for Wix. Their platform lets anyone build a professional looking website in a few minutes using their drag and drop functionality. What you may not know is they also a have a pretty cool logo maker.

I’m not a fan of their website builder (WordPress is way better) but their logo maker is not bad at all. They have hundreds of templates to choose from and then you simply edit it to your liking and purchase the final product. It’s very easy and very affordable.

2. Logo Genie

This is an awesome tool if you want to design your own logo. You put in your company name and some information about your business, design features you find appealing and a few other details. Then the AI engine spits out a bunch of different logo samples for you to choose from. Pick the one you like and then edit it further until it’s just the way you want it.

3. Canva

Canva is a really great tool. This is one that I use on a regular basis for a variety of things. Not only can you create cool logos but also graphics for social media, infographics, banner ads and more. There are a bunch of free templates to choose from and an even bigger selection of paid ones. Canva is definitely one you want to check out.

4. Graphic Springs

Graphic Springs functions very similar to Logo Genie. It has an AI engine that uses your inputs to put together a bunch of logo templates it thinks you would like. Then you pick the ones you like and edit them to your exact specifications.

Even if you plan to hire a professional designer this tool is a good way for you to figure out what design elements are important to you. Then you can pass that information along to your designer.

5. Fiverr

I have used Fiverr many times over the years for all kinds of things. It’s a micro-job site that lets you find individual designers around the world who will make your logo for as little as $5.

You can also hire web designers, programmers, marketers and more through Fiverr. Whether it’s for a logo or anything else I recommend you pay close attention to the customer feedback. Choose a designer with a good reputation and good customer feedback. Most of the people I’ve hired through Fiverr have been great and really easy to work with.

I’ve built a couple of solid relationships through Fiverr that enables me to message them anytime 24/7 through Skype if I need something done and just pay them directly.

Note:  As I mentioned last week, no matter how tempting it is DO NOT buy fake followers, likes, or website traffic on Fiverr. This is a waste of money and will only hurt your website and brand in the long run.

Conclusion

Growing your brand is crucial to the success of your business. Having a good logo can be one of the most powerful marketing decisions you’ll ever make.

Try out the tools and services listed above and see if any of them fit your design needs. Most of the resources on this list offer a variety of services besides logo design that you might find useful.

The important thing is that you don’t settle. Make sure your logo looks exactly like you want it to and that you’re 100% satisfied. If you don’t like any of these tools then check out some other ones. There are plenty of affordable options out there.
