Loom is a cool Chrome browser extension that allows you to create shareable video instantly when you stop recording.
It’s a great way to easily share how something works with your audience whenever video is the best medium for doing so. The link to your video that Loom creates doesn’t require an account to view it so it makes it super shareable and easy. In Gmail your link will even play right in the message window!
TouchRetouch is a great tool for editing stuff out of mobile pictures on the go. It’s super easy to use and is available for both iOS and Android. After you take a picture on your phone you open the picture in the app, then select the object or line you wish to remove. The app creates a mask around the content you want removed and completely eliminates it. It’s not perfect but it’s pretty darn good for $1.99.
3. Write Behind
This app allows you to make images appear as professionally shot magazine covers. Write Behind is an iOS app that lets you place text behind people or objects in your photos. This is a great app for creating Instagram images. The app is very simple to use. Take a picture and then open it in the Write Behind app. Select a font and type some text then use your finger to tap what parts of the photo should be in the foreground.
Swipeable is a cool mobile app that makes panoramic or 360-degree photos Instagram friendly by splitting them into a carousel of images. To use it you just upload an image and Swipeable will split it into separate images of up to 10.
Storeo is a super useful app for helping you create Instagram stories. After you record a full-length video on your phone open it in Storeo and it will break it up into 15-second pieces. This is great because once you upload it to Instagram your video will flow seamlessly through the 15-second segments maintaining the feel of the original video.
Do you love to use emojis but hate trying to scan through your whole emoji keyboard for the right one? Then check out Emojipedia. It’s a super fun encyclopedia for emojis. All you have to do is type in a search term and only the relevant emojis will appear. It even shows you how the emojis will look on different platforms, such as Facebook versus Google, etc. Incorporating emojis in your posts is not only fun but can increase your engagement.
